Team Leader

Mark Light is a proven leader of public, private, and not-for-profit organizations. He brings more than 46 years of experience in leadership positions at the local, national, and international level. He is well-known in local government and public safety as the fire chief of a large metropolitan fire department, as well as in the association world as CEO/Executive Director of a $21 million non-profit organization with a for-profit arm. He successfully led these organizations through multiple challenges, including economic crises, national disasters, and business redesign. He diversified revenue for the association, partnered with major corporations to implement leadership programs, and developed an international fellowship program. Mark brings strategic, innovative oversight and a people-centered, results-focused, calm, and effective approach to all situations.
